Poppin Class (2016-Present) is a DJ collective that specializes in Hip-Hop, R&B and new sound that work together collaboratively to provide a space for experimentation with the new and modern style of party, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation within the scene.

Now, Poppin is established as a community in an industry that is known with the ability to push boundaries, and the intention to shape the direction of the industry as a whole.

In 2016, Aquino initiated an event in Jakarta called Boogie Woogie, recognizing the opportunity to create a party for the youth generation which was first targeted on his college friends. But with time, the community had evolved and expanded significantly. Aquino realized the need to commence something grand and since then he began developing a branding and concept for the event.

Between 2017 and 2018, a series of events were successfully organized. Those include Boogie Woogie that was held at The Swillhouse, Strawberry Jam Session at The Swillhouse, Moon Over 021 at Lucy In The Sky along with many collaborations with various collectives and event organizers in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Years 2019 and 2020 were prosperous until the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic. Poppin Class adjusted its concept and therefore transitioned into an agency which primarily focused on social media campaigns due to the absence of live performances during the COVID pandemic era.

In the midst of 2020, Poppin Class launched a new brand named PPC Agency, with the intent to focus on branding strategy, marketing strategy and various creative services available upon request.

Years 2021 and 2022 were marked as a recovery phase, during which Poppin Class expanded significantly and became a prominent choice for party organizers in South Jakarta.

Our lineup of serial events includes popular experiences, one of which is Topdown that is held at The Swillhouse every Wednesday and has become the most sought-after midweek event in South Jakarta. Furthermore, our original intellectual properties such as Bombshell, Push Pull, Back 2 Back, Krunkie, and 360 continue to be high in demand. Notably, our oldest creation, Boogie Woogie, remains relevant and highly sought after by party-goers.

Now, Poppin Class aims to achieve even greater heights. We have officially transformed into Poppin Class Limited Company and our journey continues as we strive to create remarkable festivals and curate exceptional nights.
